Whether you’re a sci-fi fan, tech enthusiast, or have an undying love for poltergeists, our Alien Invasion, Shutdown and The Old Haunt escape rooms at Strike Darling Harbour are a must for a group of friends or family looking to put their skills to the test!

The Old Haunt

Players: 2-6 Age: 15+ (Adult Themes) | Difficulty: Medium
In the midst of a storm, you seek out shelter at an old, abandoned mansion. But once inside you become trapped within the curse of its frightening past. With the curious aid of a ghostly spirit, you’ll solve mind-bending puzzles, decipher codes and dates, and put physical skills to the test…Reveal the secrets of The Old Haunt and escape a mansion frozen in time!

Shutdown

Players: 2-6 | Age: 15+ (Adult Themes) | Difficulty: Medium
When crucial artificial intelligence systems are compromised at Exodyne, you’re tasked with getting the programme back online using high-tech devices and computer systems. Shutdown is a next-gen breakout filled with tech, AI interaction, and classic puzzles for a distinctive escape room experience.

Alien Invasion

Players: 2-6 | Age: 15+ (Adult Themes) | Difficulty: Pro
After earth is bombarded with UFO crash landings, you become trapped in your workplace and tasked with escaping through the confines of an extra-terrestrial vessel. In this sci-fi dystopia, navigate the UFO, crack futuristic codes and puzzles, and work through visual cues to save the world and escape Alien Invasion unscathed.

How long do the activities take?

All of our activities take different amounts of time depending on the size of the group. However our booking system will show you the length of your booking as you go along.

Do I have to wear bowling shoes?

We encourage guests to wear our bowling shoes. If you prefer to wear your own shoes deemed safe and appropriate. (Closed toe and flat soled e.g. trainers, sneakers, boat shoe)

Can I just turn up?

You can, but fun stuff sells out fast and during peak times we can have a limited number of walk-ins available. We advise booking in advance. You can book here.

Do I need to bring my ID?

Yes - Anyone who looks under 25 years of age will need a valid form of ID to enter the venue after 8pm. We accept driver or rider licences and permits issued within Australia or any foreign country, Australian and International passports, NSW photo cards, proof of age cards and Keypass identity cards.

Can I bring the kids?

Under 18’s are permitted at Strike Darling Harbour until 8pm, 7 days a week. Prior to this time, we request that pre-teens and younger children are accompanied by a responsible adult. Check out our House Rules for more info.

What can we do before and after our games?

Chill out in our bar, grab some grub and get into normal social interaction with your mates.
